Company Introduction
Adortayo is a company founded by Ji-hye Lee and Byung-gu Ahn. Its CEO Ji-hye Lee studied composition for musicals at NYU, won the Jonathan Larson Grants and was selected as a fellow of the Dramatists Guild of Aerica. Lee was also mentioned by prestigious newspapers such as The New York Times after collaborating with William Finn, a Tony Award winner. In Korea, she participated in translating and adjusting lyrics for numerous musicals (e.g. I Love You, Man of La Mancha, Wicked and Kinky Boots) and made lyrics and music for other performances (e.g. First Love, Dae Jang Geum, 200 Pounds Beauty and The Devil).
Director Byung-gu Ahn was awarded a grant for young artists given by Samsung to study directing and design (major: theater) at the graduate school of UCLA. He is currently serving as a professor at the performing arts department at the graduate school of Hongik University and he is also a permanent director at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York. As an actor, director and designer, he has participated in numerous performances in different places in the world: New York (US), Spoleto (Italy) and Milan (Italy).
Making use of the two artists’ years of multifaceted experience of performances around the world, the Company is willing to contribute to Korea’s healthy and constructive development of performing arts. Creative musical Perpetual Motion constitutes the Company’s first step.

Performance Detail
Based on Ho-min Ju’s webtoon, this heartwarming musical depicts the conflict and reconciliation between today’s young people and their faimily under the big theme of "dream." Rather than just being optimistic about reality, the performance would like to comfort people so that they can endure their current hardship.
Synopsis
Eccentric inventor Won-sik Han is a single father living with two children (Su-ja and Su-dong) who go to high school. Han is making a perpetual motion engine in a strange boarding house. Seon-jae Jang, who strives to be employed, then moves in. To Seon-jae suffering from the stress of finding a job, Won-sik asks, "What is your dream? Do you really dream of working for a large company?" On the other hand, Seon-jae can’t understand Won-sik who dreams of completing an impossible machine.
Seon-jae waits for the result of a job interview and the result is failure. He is enraged by himself, thinking that he won’t be able to enter the job market just like the machine that woulnd’t work. "Perpetual motion, you are a failure. You won’t be able to work forever, like me!" As if it is because of these words, Won-sik falls from the machine and falls into a coma.
Seon-jae thinks about the true meaning of Won-sik’s perpetual motion. He then accepts the fact that the perpetual motion is life itself. He has a job interview again and the interviewer asks him, "Perpetual motion? Do you think it will work?" Seon-jae answers, "The perpetual motion is already working." At that moment, an amazing thing happens; Won-sik regains his consciousness suddenly.
