65th ARD International

Music Competition Munich 2016

 
 
 
The 65th ARD International Music Competition 2016 is held in the categories double bass, horn, harp and string quartet.

 
The invitation to participate in this competition is extended to young musicians, who are ready to launch an international career. The competition is open to musicians of all nations born between 1987 and 1999 for the categories double bass, horn and harp. For string quartets: the total age of all four musicians maximum 120; single members neither younger than 17 nor older than 35.

 
The competition will be conducted during the period from August 29 to September 16, 2016 (including the prize winners’ concerts). The auditions are open to the public.

 
Deadline for registration: March 31, 2016 (Date stamp does not apply!)
