Moultaqa Leymoun | Arab Dance Platform 5th Edition

The fifth edition of MOULTAQA LEYMOUN will take place in Lebanon(Beirut and the Chouf Mountains) from the 14th to the 17th of April 2016 within BIPOD - Beirut International Platform of Dance (13 to 30 April 2016).

 
MOULTAQA LEYMOUN is a platform that showcases and promotes the work of Arab choreographers. MOULTAQA LEYMOUN has also participated in establishing a ground for new conceptual and thematic approaches by opening discussions towards creating a new theoretical condition for the understanding of dance and the body within our cultural and social environment.

 
We will present around 20 choreographers from Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Palestine and Iran. The platform will include full-length performances by established Arab artists.  A series of studio presentations will introduce young emerging talents, their work and future projects.

 
International dance presenters & professionals are strongly encouraged to attend the platform and discover this selection of talented Arab artists.
