Miryang Summer Performing Arts Festival has started as a small village festival in 2002. Ever since then, it has grown into a representative performing arts festival for the past 10 years. Every summer, the small city of Miryang is hot with theaters.

This year, Theater Troupe Georipae which has founded the Miryang Theater Village faces its 25th anniversary, and Miryang Summer Performing Arts Festival faces the 10th anniversary of Young Director''s Section. Celebrating its anniversaries, this year''s festival presents various kinds of theaters under the flag of ''Theater Questions our Reality''. There are various sections such as ''Guest Performances from in and out of Korea'', ''Young Director''s Section'', ''Student Drama Section'', ''Events'', and ''Theater Troupe Georipae''s 25th Anniversary Performances''.
