The PAMS(Performing Arts Market in Seoul) 2011 takes place from 10th(Mon) to 14th(Fri) October in National Theater of Korea and National Theater Company of Korea. This year, PAMS focus on Asian performing arts by academic sessions and networking programs with performing arts professionals from domestic and overseas. Also, thirteen outstanding woks in the Korean performing arts are selected as PAMS Choice.

Event Overview
Showcase
- PAMS Choice
: This official showcase for outstanding works in the Korean performing arts is the representative PAMS brand. Thirteen works have been selected from the productions developed and released in Korea, representing the genres of theater, dance, music, and multidisciplinary performances. Showcase works are presented in a variety of formats, including excerpt selections and full-length performance.
- Overseas Showcase
: PAMS also uses the Showcase format to introduce works from other countries in cooperation with overseas performing arts markets. This year, the showcase is scheduled to present works from Japan and Australia as part of "Asia Focus."
- PAMS Link
: An unofficial PAMS showcase, the PAMS Link program was organized to present a broad range of productions in the Korean performing arts that are being performed during the event period. Around thirty works are selected from submissions and performed at locations throughout Seoul.
Booth Exhibition
- Booth Exhibition for Culture and Arts Organizations and Performance Groups
: The Booth Exhibition provides an occasion where around 80 culture and arts organizations and performance groups can publicize their current productions and projects. This exhibition is also a networking venue where professionals can gather to share practical information.
Academic Event and Networking Programs
- Focus Session &Round Table: Asian Performing Arts
: Every year, PAMS selects one particular region for a Focus Session providing in-depth information about its market. This year''s event features an opportunity to gain an understanding of the current situation of performing arts in Asia and to discuss a broad range of issues from perspectives within and outside of Asia. In particular, the small-group discussions in the Round Table Program provide a setting for substantive discussions with the sharing of different examples of collaborative efforts taking place in?between Asia and overseas.
- LIP(Looking for International Partners)
: The LIP program is designed for people seeking partners on international co-productions. It takes the form of presentations through which participants introduce their ideas and/or production plans in the creation, development, and distribution stages and locate partners in their home country and overseas (performers, choreographers, co-producers, presenters, etc.).
- Speed Dating
: This program is designed to facilitate in-depth networking by furnishing an opportunity to meet with theater specialists, festival programmers, and other professionals from Korea and overseas. Participants can check the profiles of the professionals and schedule their desired Speed Date.
- Lunch Meeting and PAMS Night
: In addition to its official networking programs, PAMS also organizes a variety of unofficial networking channels. These events represent a departure from the standardized networking venue where participants can engage in natural communication and interchange amid a free and relaxed atmosphere.
