Duration of Stay
a) 6 months
 March 2 ~ August 30, 2011 / September 1 ~ February 28, 2012
b) 3months
 March 2 ~ May 30, 2011 /  June 1 ~ August 30, 2011
September 1 ~ November 29, 2011 / December 1, 2011 ~ February 28, 2012
* Applicants for 3-month term can chose two types of duration.

Qualification fro Application
a) The artist should be over 23 years of age on 4 January 2011
2) The artist should be working in the field of contemporary art (Regardless of genre).
3) The artist should be independent, and capable of working and living on his or her own.
4) The artist should be able to lead a community life with other artists in the residency.
5) The artist should be able to communicate with people, including joining in the exchange program activities, (talk, lectures, workshops, school visits etc)
6) The artist should be able to explain his or her artwork, and give lectures or workshops in English or Korean.
 
Support Offered by the Program 
1) Private studio and accommodation
2) Airfare for overseas resident (one time round trip economy class air ticket)
3) Production fees for local collaboration program or projects in or by Incheon Art Platform (Proposal will be required and participants will be selected)
4) Space for presentation of produced works is provided, free of charge, in Incheon Art Patfrom.(in project space, performance hall and outside space. In some cases, it may be impossible to meet the participant's requirements completely.)
5) Introduction into Korean art-scene

Application Procedure
Application must arrive at Incheon Art Platform no later than 21th of January.
※  We accept applications by email or postal mail. Either is acceptable.
a) Please download the application form and send it by email or postal mail.
b) Attach materials that show your current artistic activities such as artists’ statement, images of your art works, recordings　videos, CDs and DVDｓ. (two copies)
? The submitted materials are unreturnable. Please do not send original works or portfolios that need to be sent back.

Selection Procedure and Notification
a) Selection committee comprising art professionals will strictly screen all participants.
b) Final decision will be informed by January 14, 2011 (Notification date to be determined) and will be posted at the website of Incheon Art Platform : www.inartplatform.kr
