Performance Introduction
In modern society, we strive to meet this world’s criteria. So we ceaselessly prepare for something but we never feel reassuared. People don’t even think of taking time to reflect on if they are prepared sufficiently. In such an environment where they need to prove that they are doing right, they compete with each other and they have even heavier burden of preparing more. We end up exhausting ourselves amid ceaseless requirements of this world. Only then, we have a chance to look inside ourselves. Only after feeling a sense of shame, meaninglessness of life, sorrow and only after being ’alone,’ we can look at ourselves. It is the moment when we can truly understand ourselves and the depth of the inner self we hadn’t seen while making preparations required by society. We could then ask ourselves this true question: am I ready?
