Company

Babyart is a company that creates arts experiences for children and youth from 0 years old. In Asia, frequently arts are limitedly experienced by ‘rich parents & their children’. Babyart believes arts should be presented and interpreted by all. No matter how young a child is, how rich child’s parents are, under any circumstances, any child deserves to experience sufficient pieces of art from the moment of their birth. Babyart created its first international co-production in 2018, and will continuously reaching out children in different places in the world to inspire and embrace children within arts.

Babyopera is a company that creates performances for children 0-3 years. It is led by initiator, director and scenographer Christina Lindgren with a team composed for each project. Babyopera aims to create performances where toddlers and their adult companion becomes an aesthetic and spiritual experience through art.

Performance

MAGO is a performance for children 0 – 3 years. A collaboration between Babyart and Babyopera in co-production with Sami National Theatre Beaivvas, North Norway. It is inspired by the story of MAGO, an ancient creation myth from Korea. MAGO is the giant goddess that listens to cosmic music and creates mountains, forests and rivers.
