SBT (Seongbuk-dong Beedoolkee Theatre) is concentrating how movement affects the play. It not only concentrates on movement but it also focuses on how the performance contains the characteristic of Media. The ’Theatre’ and ’Media’ have different roots. And it is clear that the Theatre is inevitably influenced by the emergence of media. By devising exquisite fusion of the ‘Theatre’ and ‘Media’, SBT puts new spin on classical texts. Therefore, SBT uses heterogeneous communication styles. As we keep attempting experiment to replace the theatricality with the media, we also try to communicate with classical texts. Men can see a story and events transformed into a high-quality media form as well as considerable criticism together. Some of the most famous works are “Death of a man, SALE”, “Medea on Media” and “Oh The Yellow.”

Performance Detail

“Willy’s solitude, energy that’s driving to death. knock on the body of an audience!”

The performance begins with the final scene of the original film, where Willy runs to his death, and shows scenes that have passed by like a flashback. Willy runs all the way through the running time on a treadmill lying across the stage, and the audience experiences Willie’s time to die stepping on the car at full speed.
