Bucheon Civic Center

The Bucheon Civic Center opened in 1988 and boasts a history of nearly 20 years. It is a representative cultural space that promotes good cultural arts to citizens. It is a venue for smooth communication and active exchanges with citizens by promoting higher-quality performances and arts education programs. With 1,152 seats to play and 348 seats to play, the theater is capable of performing according to the size of the performance and genre. The center is home to the city’s art troupes, including the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, the City Choir Group, the Youth Choir Group and the Youth Orchestra, and is performing its functions as a cradle of Bucheon’s local art. In particular, the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1988, is the nation’s highest-ranking orchestra, presenting high-quality music with excellent performance and wide repertoire. |
