Opened on Oct. 16, 1999, Busan Democracy Park was created to honor and inherit Busan citizens’ sublime democratic sacrificial spirit, which has contributed to the development of modern and modern Korean history by leading to the "4.19 Democratic Revolution," the "Buma Democratic Uprising" and the "June Resistance." It also aims to enhance the historic status of Busan, the birthplace of the pro-democracy movement. The Jung Theater is used as a complex cultural space such as international conferences, academic events, various lectures, songs, plays, movies and dance presentations, while the small theater is used as a small conference room, lecture hall, and movie theater.The outdoor concert hall will be used as a theater and music concert hall, and will also be used as a wedding hall on weekends and holidays.
