Seoul Metropolitan Youth Traditional Music Ensemble

Under the value of creating new music with creative emotions and challenging the spirits of young musicians to create the future of the most modern and international Korean music based on traditional music, the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Traditional Music Ensemble is composed of young musicians under the age of 30 who have focused on traditional music.
In 2005, the first year of establishment, it successfully completed the performance to mark the 10th anniversary of sisterhood relationship between Seoul and Mongolia and received high acclaim at the ’Seoul’s Day’ concert held in Hungary and the Czech Republic in 2009 to spread the outstanding music and culture of South Korea to Eastern Europe.
