Jeong Ga Ak Hoe

Jeong Ga Ak Hoe was founded in 2000. This ensemble has actively staged various concerts at home and abroad, performing both Korean traditional music and newly composed music. Its musical activities are based on the idea of nature and music; all the species could coexist in keeping diversity and could be self-generated in compliance to nature. Jeong Ga Ak Hoe has made an energetic interaction with other genres of performing arts and presented newly created pieces and music dramas. With a new cultural repercussion to contemporary Korean music, this ensemble has passionately presented music works that refresh the Korean music scene while maintaining Korean tradition.
