Gayageum ensemble La-on G

‘La-on G’ hopes to stay in the place of pleasant communication where the tradition and modernism coexist and musical seriousness and popular universality sympathize with each other through a musical instrument ‘Gayageum’. In addition, ‘La-onG’ will concentrate on delivering the traditional vocal sound inherent in the musical instrument, ''Gayageum'', tension and relaxation coming from dynamic playing by 25 stringed acoustic Gayageum and she does avoid following tendency of mixing with electronic instruments which is often described as ‘Fusion’. Kwak and her Ensemble’s outstanding performance technique is one thing, but also employing modern and urban sensibility that attract many younger as well as overseas audiences.
