Stage Pungkyung

Stage Pungkyung, which was founded in 2001, was named after a type of wind-bell that can be found in Buddhist temples. Just as the sound of bells chiming in the wind awaken our mind, the members of Pungkyung aim to awaken the audiences awareness of social issues in contemporary society. In seeking to inspire audiences through their works, Stage Pungkyung also continues to experiment with theatrical style with each new play.
