Play BST

Play BST is a theatre company that shares drama activity and performances with children and young people in Korea. Play BST was first formed in 2002 by members majored in Theatre for the Young in the School of Drama, Korea National University of Arts. Play BST takes playing as the start point of all its projects, based on the fact that children learn the most important things in life through playing. Also, Play BST seeks to establish a culture in which the whole family can participate, as well as taking continuous interest in the neglected parts of our society. Since Gamoonjang(2003), Play BST has created several pieces for family such as Moon Moon Bright and How Far Have you Come?. An artistic director In Woo NAM, who also works as a drama specialist and an educator, has been highly reputed for making her own style combining play, theatre and tradition. Besides Gamoonjang, Nam s another piece Pansori Brecht Sacheon-ga (2007) was selected as PAMS Choice 2009.
