Sadari Movement Laboratory
To draw forth a constructive image of movements - The image pursued by the Sadari Movement Institute is not a literary one based on the six principles of drama and a beginning-middle-end format, but a moving constructive image that employs and expands the inner motive inherent in the text. Under the pretext that humans are a small universe, the aim is to study what movements and space belong to materials, colors and light, animals and music. By determining what shapes the desires inside humans assume in space and rhythm, these shapes can be turned into a language of movements, sounds, objects, formative shapes, masks, stage props, costumes, dolls, and other images on stage. The unique and creative process of the Sadari Movement Institute has been applauded abroad by critics and artistic producers alike. 〈Woyzeck〉, which has been invited to Japan and Switzerland (Mummenschanz), will also be presented in August at the Aurora Nova Theater at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival. In 2006, 〈Between Two Doors〉was officially invited to the Mimos Festival in France. More and more opportunities to perform abroad have allowed the Sadari Movement Institute to present the dramatic language of Korea to foreign audiences
