In 2003, Seoul Factory established itself with Hyoung-Taek Limb, Professor at Seoul Institute of the Arts, as Art Director and Resident Director. It now trains more than 20 actors in the acting craft of using physical language in a uniquely Korean way. The theater continues to reinterpret classical Eastern and Western works, in addition to creating original works. Seoul Factory has a long history of collaboration with the theater company LITE(Laboratory for International Theatre Exchange, Inc), which was founded in New York in 1994 with Hyoung-Taek Limb and Adam Melnick as Art Directors. Seoul Factory continues to create workshop and performance opportunities in which Eastern and Western theater traditions develop under each others influences.
