Since its foundation in 1996, ‘Lee Kyung-ok Dance Company’ has been loved from the public and critics giving them the idea that Dance is easy to understand and it is fun though the series of Dance fairy tales for adults such as . Furthermore, it has been produced many art works which help the public understand intention of the choreographer clearly and easily as well as enjoying the performances based on Play and amusement spirit the origin sprit of Korean traditional dance. As a result, in 2005 it obtained art award of the year administered by the arts council korea, and in 2008 it was selected for ARCO intensive grant in performing arts and had been subsidized its creative art works for three years. Now it is planning to spread its reputation to worldwide gearing up with WILLICH invitation performance on upcoming November, and it has been already invited to perform in Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theatre and Montegro Festival in 2010.
