KIM plays daegeum in both traditional and modern music. KIM is a performer of the traditional Music Troupe in the national Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts and the youngest member in Jeongnog ensemble. While actively involved in the preservation of traditional dageum music, KIM is also recognized as the forerunner of new Korean music.
