Pro. Yi(Seoul National Uni) started learning gayageum, Pansori, and traditional dance when she was 5 years old. Now, she covers extensive gayageum repertoire from court music to contemporary creative music as the first Ph.D. gayageum performer in Korea. YI is a member of Jeongnong Ensemble, the most renowned Korean classical music ensemble, and the leader of CMEK.
