Company Introduction

The critically-acclaimed duo Miyeon & Park is structured improvisation artists based on jazz, contemporary classical and Korean music. They have been actively performing since the mid 90’s. They both studied classical and contemporary music composition at Chung-Ang University, one of Korea’s prestigious universities. In addition, they also studied Korean traditional pansori, shaman music and samulnori. They then went on to incorporate these components into European contemporary and jazz music to pioneer the new style of music.

Performance Detail

The Korean Focus in Taiwan consists of duo performances of Miyeon&Park and collaboration with Taiwan’s traditional musicians.
