Sim, Woonjung is a one-man percussion performance based on Korean tradition, and aims to continuously try experimental music in collaboration with artists of various genres at home and abroad and present new possibilities for Korean music.
*Performance Detail
The Weiwuying Contemporary Music Platform not only promotes contemporary music but also aims to provide a platform for artistic exchanges and artists’ experimentation. As part of the 2019 Artist Workshop, a workshop under the theme of “Creating Cross-border Music ｗith Asian Traditional Musical Instruments” was designed to facilitate artistic exchanges and creative experimentation through workshops, which featured three traditional instrumentalists from Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. The three musicians all have an abundance of experience on the global scene, with crossover collaborations and a rich background in traditional music.
