Company Introduction
An independent record label, BGBG RECORDS was established in 2005 under its motto of “sustainable DoReMi”. Since then, the label has produced and released 26 official albums, 22 EP’s and 32 singles. Currently we are working with 17 artists including ‘numnum’, ‘SULTAN OF THE DISCO’, ‘SE SO NEON’, ‘SILICA GEL’, ‘LOWDOWN 30’, etc. who perform various genres of music such as blues, folk and rock. The company has been promoting its artists such as SULTAN OF THE DISCO, SE SO NEON, SILICA GEL to the international music market. In addition, the label has also been working on introducing foreign artists to South Korean listeners.
Performance Detail
Numnum is a band from South Korea, consisting of Lee YunJoung (vocals), Lee SeungHuk (guitar/programming), and Ejae (bass). YunJoung, leader of numnum, was a vocalist of Bbibbi Band, which is the 1st generation of Korean indie music in the 90’s, and performed as an electronic music duo EE at Coachella for the first time as a Korean artist. She started numnum with young and talented musicians: SeungHuk and Ejae. Numnum has been making mixed genre music and released their first single [It’s a TRAP!] in October 2018. They performed at the special stage of Zandari Festa, which is the biggest music showcase festival in South Korea. Even though it was their second show after their debut, they were noticed favorably by people working in the international music industry.
Festival Detail
The 13th edition of the annual Sled Island Music & Arts Festival will take place from June 19 to 23, 2019 in over 30 venues in Calgary. 250 musical acts from Canada and the world will be invited to perform for a total audience of 44,000 people.
