Company Introduction
Babyart is led by Hee Sun Kim. It is a company that created art experiences for children and youth from 0 years old. Babyart aims to reach out to children in different places in the world to inspire and embrace children with the arts. Babyart has co-created with Babyopera from Norway in 2018. has successfully premiered in South Korea in July 2018 and Norway in December 2018.
Performance Detail
MAGO is a performance for children 0 – 3 years co-produced by Korean company Babyart and Norwegian company Babyopera. Mago is created by Sami music by Torgeir Vassvik, choreography by Hyun Kim, dance based on Korean traditional dance by Geon Kim, direction by Christina Lindgren and scenography by Yun Kyung Bae/ costume by Christina Lindgren. It is a result of Nordic-Korean-Connnection which is a co-operating and exchange programme connecting Korean and Nordic performing arts professionals working with young audiences ages 0 –18 years. Partners are Korean Arts Management and Performing Arts Hub Norway. The premiere of MAGO took place July 27th at Oil Tank Cultural Park, Seoul and had performances in Norway in December 2018.

Initiated in 2006 by eight Rwandan women, Ishyo is a non-governmental organization which operates as a platform for professional artists, cultural experts, creative entrepreneurs and art lovers with the main objective of making culture available for everyone. The mission of Ishyo Arts Centre is to create an authentic Rwandan cultural experience, committed to providing the highest level of artistic excellence in all aspects of the performing and visual arts and one in which the education and development of a diverse community of artists, audiences and technicians is assured.
