Company Introduction

Coreyah is a Korean/world music ensemble consisting of four performers of traditional Korean instruments, one guitarist, and one world percussionist. Coreyah strives to create “living Korean music” by absorbing and assimilating various world music heritages, such as Anglo-American rock music, Balkan gypsy music and other ethnic genres. Since its debut in 2010, Coreyah has performed in more than 37 countries including Australia, Singapore, USA, Qatar and Brazil.

Coreyah is a Korean/world music ensemble consisting of Korean traditional instruments and western/world components. Since its debut in 2010, Coreyah has created a new style of Korean music by blending various genres of ethnic and popular music while still maintaining the distinctive characteristics of traditional Korean instruments. The strength of Coreyah Concert is that one can experience Korean traditional and contempory music in a localized way to meet the local culture and breath.
