Company Introduction
Designated as Jeonbuk Province’s intangible cultural heritage organization, Jeolla Samhyenyukak is engaging in preserving Samhyenyukak (Korean traditional ensemble of instruments) of Jeolla Province. They are also planning attempts of modernization in order to develop performances of Korean traditional instruments in a colorful way.
Performance Detail
Composed of the daegeum, geomungo, piri, Korean percussion and pansori, the performance lets us see the uniqueness of Korean traditional music and its potential as creative music. This is an arrangement of Korean traditional performances such as sinawi and pansori (Chunhyangga).
