Company Introduction
Founded in 2001 as an honorary ambassador of Tongyeong Festival, Ensemble TIMF introduces new programs in Korea and supports young artists’ activities as a representative organization of modern music. The Ensemble has also presented unique performances including A Night of Korean Composers and Open Your Ears, serving audiences in a fruitful way.
They participated in the premiere of operas Wozzeck, Salome and Lulu. They were also invited to the world’s prestigious festivals such as the Darmstadt Music Festival, Venice Biennale, Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music and Hong Kong Arts Festival, thus sharing the musicality of Asian pieces and talent of Asian artists throughout the world.
