Noreum Machi not only has performed Korean Music to the world-renowned music festivals in 170 cities and 60 countries, but presented the Korean traditional musical identity through the collaboration projects with various international artists from the different cultural backgrounds.  The musical excellence of Noreum Machi has been recognized by the World Music Market expects afther their official showcase of WOMEX 14. They introduce the artistic fruit to the Korean audiences every year under the name of SSBD Collaboration Project.

Performance Detail

The K-Wind is composed of repertoires that have touched global audiences in 200 cities in 70 countries with dynamic percussion rhythm.  Meeting the world’s different cultural spheres, The K-Wind has promoted Korean traditional culture and musical identity.  In the beginning of the performance, the Company delicately yet dynamically expresses affection and hope for life, humans, and nature by playing Korean folk music that reflects the distinctive color of Korean traditional culture thus drawing an attention from the global audiences.  Then, the Company continues to play their own compositions which reinterpret the dynamism of Korean music with a contemporary spirit, presents Korean traditional music as part of world music and let the audiences experience the past and present of traditional Korean music.
