Built as a modern building with 1 basement level and 2 ground levels, the Local Cultural Center consists of a large performance hall with 630 seats, a small performance hall with 258 seats, an exhibition hall of 40㎡, and an amusement park of 400㎡.

The Center for Local Culture has a grand and modern exterior and facilities that cannot be found in any basic municipality in the country. Since its opening in 1997, the “Saturday Folk Tour” program has been operated every Saturday in the grand performance hall of the Local Cultural Center.

After permanent performances of the intangible cultural properties and folk culture of the Jindo region, it was prepared to be used as a unique cultural tourism resource of Jindo by directly linking them with tourist destinations. It also provides opportunities for various cultural experiences to realize the cultural needs of local residents and promote harmony among residents.
