The 14th Seoul International Dance Festival(SIDance 2011)
From Sep 29th(Thu) to Oct 16th(Sun), 2011 presenting 51 works (18 international, 30 domestic and 3 collaborative works) by about 52 dance companies from Korea and 16 other countries, at Sogang Univ. Mary Hall, Seoul Arts Center Jayu Theatre, Hoam Art Hall, and cafes, parks, squares and other spots in the city The great 18-day journey of dance!
Seoul Section of the International Dance Council CID-UNESCO(President LEE Jong-ho) is holding the 14th SIDance for 18 days from Sep 29th to Oct 16th, 2011. Seoul Section of the International Dance Council CID-UNESCO has been leading the development of the Korean dance scene and promotion of the Korean culture''s international status, since it hosted the 13th CID-UNESCO General Assembly and the 1st SIDance in 1998. A group of internationally welcomed artists and dance companies from Korea, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Lebanon, USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Finland, Ghana, Sri Lanka and China will bring the great charms of dance and build close connections and interact with the audience in various venues in Seoul such as Sogang Univ.
