The Jeonju Int''l Sori Festival is a global music festival centered around Korea''s sori (sound of voice and music).

It is a top perforrming arts festival where Korean and global music come toghater in harmony. The festival stages various performances, from fringe perfeormances featuring artists in any genre of music, to master performances of world renown artists. The Jeonju Int''l Sori Festival is a "pan" in which everybody can join in together, a joyous festival of nature and people.

Sori- "sori"is a traditional Korean term that refers to the heritage of traditional music such as pansorti, which has bwwn passed down by mouth in the jeolla Province region, and also sanjo, gagok, poongryu, and poongmool. The term "sori" in the Jeonju Int''l Sori Festival signifies the heritage of traditional music everywhere, which includes world music, classic music, pop music, etc.
