The Korea Broadcasting System was completed in January 1998 to contribute to the development of broadcasting culture and promote the benefits of broadcasters.

The Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) has developed continuously with the goal of strengthening competitiveness of terrestrial networks and fostering future businesses through strengthening of media R&D capabilities, and aims to contribute to the media industry as a whole through the development of the broadcasting industry and the convergence of the advertising industry.

The Korea Broadcasting System aims to establish itself as a cultural infrastructure hub for both broadcasters and advertisers, and will do its best to enhance the value of broadcasting by enhancing the national benefits through broadcasting culture and to provide a place for experiencing and relaxing broadcasting.
