CHUNCHEON PUPPET THEATER

Chuncheon City promoted the construction of the Chuncheon Puppet Theater in order to expand the base of puppet theater and promote the continued development of the Chuncheon Puppet Festival by establishing a puppet theater worthy of the reputation of hosting an international puppet festival, and to establish the status of Chuncheon as a ’Culture City’ through this, as part of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s policy to promote regional culture and opened on May 4, 2001.
