Theater Company Mucheon

Theater company Mucheon is established in 1992 by a director, A-ra Kim. Mucheon has been produced and performed 30 major plays, and invited from 5 European countries and Japan as well. Director, Kim experimented and established multi-formed music theatre of her own through these years of works. Since 1997, director A-ra Kim founded an outdoor theater in Juksan, produced and <4 major tragedy of Shakespeare> and it became one of the most memorial works in theatre history of our nations. The final goal of Mucheon is to create from an authentic Korean theatre to entirely new stage of its own. Mucheon believe that it is the obligation of the dramatist of today to watch our era and offers the various ways of life and thought. With that recognition, Mucheon will do its best to complete an aesthetics stage, alive and universal art of today.
