Based on a fusion of hip hop and contemporary dance, AHN SOOYOUNG COMPANY approaches the audience in order to commune and share of emotions and alive feelings through witty and new dances rather than abstract and difficult contemporary dance. Embodied in youthful and brilliant techniques and related to sensual philosophy of dance, they would like to capture the authenticity from a variety of public audience.
With a strong personality and style full of wit, Soo-young AHN is said to be the Charlie Chaplin in Korean contemporary dance scene. SInce started his dance career as a street dancer, he has been steadily building up his own color through various works with established choreographers in Korea. |
