Koreans have kept their traditional culture, which is creative and excellent. It may not be easy to find a similar example anywhere around the world. Jollabuk-do has always been at the center of new forms growing from the traditional arts. JPIKTPA is the first art organization which offers training, research and performances simultaneouly. It has grown up to multi-faceted traditional art center. The JPIKTPA will never forget its responsibility and take the lead for globalization, modernization and pupularization of traditional arts.
It offers a variety of performances more than 100 times a year, such as regular performances that allow modern people to easily access Korean traditional music and Thursday performances, while preserving the identity of Korean traditional music by creating new translations of fusion music that combines traditional music with modern music.
