Artist Introduction
Hey string is a group consisting of a trio of gayageum players who build on their thorough research into traditional music to launch bold and distinctive new artistic ventures that blend a wide spectrum of musical sources. Using the traditional Korean instrument called gayageum, the trio tests boundary-crossing potentials and incorporates diverse new musical languages. The joint compositions by these performers have ground breaking, brilliant creative vitality and are sure to deliver an intense musical experience.
