Fantasy + Physical + Dance
About performance
Synopsis
•Fantasy – Root of sensory realm and source of imagination
It reveals the bodily presence more strongly through everybody objects and facilitates a natural connection to body. Also, it makes the imagination of dance visible through a range of images based on body, such as bodily sound, cartoonish images, humor or extreme energy.
•Physical – Interaction of bodily mechanism and space
What takes focus is the functional aspect of body and the examples of physical force. The body keeps moving and going forward in its functional aspect –bending, straightening, turning, pushing, pulling or spiral movement- and its internal or external relations –texture and velocity, deconstruction and combination, spatial perception, action and reaction of gravity and energy, change of shapes or clash of energy.
•Dance – Coexistence of physical force and fantasy
If physical force deals with scientific,
realistic and rational realms, we can say fantasy deals with bodily senses,
imagination as well as non-real and instinctive realms. Those two are antinomic

Neong-cool Park
Leader of OH!MYLIFE MOVEMENT THEATER and acclaimed as ‘Asian tornado,’ ‘sensibilities of the East’ and ‘an outstanding choreographer from Korea with elaborate strength,’ Neong-cool Park is investigating the theme of body’s possibilities. She has collaborated on various projects with European dance artists, and her career took off as an internationally acclaimed artist when she worked as a collaborator and dancer of David Zambrano, internationally active choreographer based in Amsterdam and Brussels. Also, seeing not just stage works but also community projects as one essence of dance, she has been working to expand the boundary of dance by organizing several projects: <Dance Spirit Project>, the get-together of dance artists from teenagers to age over 60; <Ten Villages Project>, which delivered dance to countryside villages barefoot; and <Your Own Dance Prescription> and <Take Care of Dance> for a life of dancing based on Eastern philosophies.
