Interview with ELEPHANTS LAUGH
ELEPHANTS LAUGH focuses mainly on three aspects; a specific space, a particular community, and a participatory audience. The theme covers social issues and social minorities that we feel important to address. We want to encourage the audience to reflect on their daily life through the performance and challenge them to develop independent or different aspects.

코끼리들이 웃는다 인터뷰
코끼리들이 웃는다는 커뮤니티와 장소특정형 공연형식의 작업을 기반으로 커뮤니티와 장소가 가진 이야기를 바탕으로 공연을 만든다. 예술 창작에 있어 장르를 구분하지 않고, 하고자 하는 작업의 주제와 소통하는 대상에 따라 다양한 시도로 작업을 만들어가고자 하며, 집, 공장, 궁궐, 마을 등 장소의 특징과 장소가 가진 이야기에 따라 공연의 형식을 다양하게 구현하려 노력하고 있다. 또한 관객의 역할 확장에 관심을 가지고 객석에서의 수동적인 관람이 아닌 관객의 직접적인 참여를 통해 완성되는 공연을 만들고 있다.
