The red waves of 10 million people cheering during the 2002 World Cup had been enough to surprise people from across the world. Started from the following year in 2003, the Hi Seoul Festival has reached its 8th year after being started to continue the enthusiasm of citizens through Festival culture. Come May of each year, millions of Seoulites and global citizens come together for amazing festivities. Hosted and held jointly by SEOUL METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT and SFAC, the Hi Seoul Festival strives to become a festival which highlights the distinct culture of Seoul, a festival allowing all to feel the bond of Seoulites, a festival which represents Seoul to the World.
